CHELSEA, LONDON

One bedroom flat with stunning views of the River Thames and Battersea Park.

One bedroom flat with stunning views of the river Thames and Battersea Park from both the living room and bedroom. In the entrance hall you’ll notice the wooden panelled walls and hanging chandelier which set the sophisticated tone for the rest of the home.

Step into the sitting room and feel your toes against the plush, red rug which lies before the large double sofa (it folds into a sofa bed for guests). Recline and admire the rose bouquet which sits on the fireplace, or the red brocade curtain drapes. Find the lever along the wood panelled wall until it slides to reveal a hidden kitchen, complete with super-slick chrome fixtures and modern appliances.

Head into the master bedroom where a muted, teal wallpaper will lull you into a sense of calm. Relax on the king size bed beside the stylish, industrial radiator, and watch the wall-mounted television, or pamper yourself before the floor-ceiling mirrors. Next door in the brand new shower room, enjoy a luxurious power-shower while a fluffy towel heats on the shiny chrome rack.

The Area:

Traditionally a haunt for the London bohemia, Chelsea is now one of the city’s most affluent areas, with wide, elegant boulevards of period properties. Take a trip to King’s Road and Sloane Square and Avenue, the crown jewel of London haute-couture.

In times past it was also a haven to artists, scientists, and many other influential people. Chelsea was originally known as the “village of palaces” in the 17th Century, the only residents being those in palatial manor houses. Residents included Henry VIII, Sir Thomas More, Elizabeth I, the Duke of Monmouth and the Duke of Beaufort. On Embankment Gardens’ doorstep you’ll of course find the upscale Chelsea Embankment, with its wide view of the Thames and the elegant Ranelagh Gardens.

Further north, explore the shopping delights of King’s Road, and the world famous museums of South Kensington. Central London is accessible in just 20 minutes via the nearby Sloane Square underground station.

Nice and well localition

Nice, clean, fully equipped apartment. Good underground connections to the city center. A perfect location to spend some free days in London. Fantastic!

Fantastic location, perfect for a couple

Echoing the comments of other reviewers: this is a perfectly located apartment. We just stayed here for our very first trip to London and we adored it. We appreciated the in-person welcome and orientation, the bottle of wine, and to have someone able to answer all our questions and needs. Aside from the amazing location in Chelsea with views of the Thames and Battersea Park, the apartment was also convenient: we used the washer/dryer several times and had no problem using the Wi-Fi. It's close to King’s Road where there are lots of great restaurants and shopping, the Saatchi Gallery etc. There is a bus close by and the tube is just a 10 minute walk away. There are convenience stores and mini-marts nearby where we bought fruit and snacks. The apartment is charming with everything you could need, and the bed is very comfortable. If we ever make it back to London we would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended.

Perfection!

My friend and I stayed in this charming, and perfectly appointed flat for 5 days and we could not have been more happy there. It is so close to the tube (a short 15 minute walk), and loads of shopping and restaurants on King Street. Jose met us, took our bags up in the lift, and gave us the ABC's of the flat. He was wonderful. The location is so perfect, right on the Thames. If you are in London and are looking for a perfect place, this is it.

Exceptional property and location

This is an exceptional property. Every detail of this apartment is outstanding and the hospitality is top notch. The owners provide a bouquet of fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, a bowl of very nice fruit, a box of truffles, cereal, coffees and teas. The bathroom is also stocked with soap, shampoo and lotion. It is very comfortable and helpful to have these things provided. The apartment is small but is great for a single or a couple.

The location is also great. The view from the living room is of the Thames and Battersea Park. It is within a couple of blocks of a number of bus stops. Kings Road is about 6 blocks away. Chelsea is a beautiful neighborhood that is easy and safe to walk through.

The correspondence with the management team was great. They were very accommodating to our request for late check out. They also did a great job of welcoming us to the apartment and showing us how everything worked.

We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends. That is the highest praise we can give.

The apartment was small but well-appointed and in a wonderful location. There's a view of the Thames and Battersea Park. It was really quiet and lovely. The hosts were great to work with and really friendly and responsive. The apartment really has everything you need really. One note though: we were there during a heat wave, and like many residences in London, the unit does not have air conditioning. Most of the time, it wouldn't be an issue, but if traveling in July again, I might hedge my bets next time. Thank you, Marta and Jose, for a great stay though!

The flat was very well appointed. Great location with a nice view of the river. Easy walking to the restaurants and shops in Chelsea and Kensington. I would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable and central

The apartment is comfortable and central. Close to transport and restaurants. The view of the river was restful. Wi-fi was not working during our stay but that was not the fault of the owner.

I figured the pictures of the Thames might be from a block or two away (I know you have to "sell" the location) but it's just as pictured. You look out from the living room to the Thames and can't help but feel like you're in the heart of Chelsea. But what's even better, it's nice and quiet and everything you could want is right there in the flat. If we come back to London, there's no hesitation on my part. We'll park ourselves right here once again.

A London gem!!

A friend and I stayed for 11 days and nights in this gem of a flat. I rarely use superlatives but in this case they are entirely merited. The stay was simply wonderful. The flat is in a smashing location (quiet street with a lovely view of the river Thames and also just a few minutes walk to all the trendiness, shops, and eateries on King's Road, buses, and the Sloane Square tube stop) and is beautifully appointed (from quality appliances and wi-if to linens and toiletries and everything in-between)! We knew that there is no air-conditioning and were happy to have the fan provided per our request. Plus, the fresh flowers, fruit, wine, and chocolates made for a very special welcome. As did Diana and Jose's attentive responsiveness at all times. Thank you so much. We would love to return and will also let friends know of this delightful London gem.

Exceptional in Every Way!

Light, bright with a pretty view of the Thames! I would buy this apartment if I could. We were supremely comfortable for the week we were here. The decor is smart and the space planning is excellent. I think it’s even nicer than portrayed in the photos. We were greeted by Jose (who was wonderful) and appreciated the fresh flowers, bottle of wine, Evian and candies. Molton Brown toiletries were in the bath. We loved the location - it was a residential neighborhood and not teeming with tourists. However it was 10 minutes from busy Kings Road and about 15 from Sloan Square. We found a wonderful gastro pub very nearby and a very reasonably priced Gordon Ramsay restaurant. I have mobility issues so for places further than 6 blocks or so, I had to use Uber. All of the fares were very reasonable - nothing was far. Would I come back here again? In a heartbeat!

Nice little place in a great neighborhood

This apartment may be relatively small, but it's well put together. Good design and amenities stocked make it a great choice for a worry-free stay in London. Great view to the park, only if it was a little bit further away from the traffic noise, would have made it ideal. All in all, we liked it and will stay again if travel take us back to London.

flat, centrally located with a view of the Thames. Ten to fifteen minute walk to Sloane Square tube stop. Very quiet building in residential area. Nice compact flat, perfect for two people. We were there for 11 nights. Marta and Jose were very responsive. Tesco Express just two blocks from the flat, perfect for quick grocery shopping.

VERY NICE AND WELL LOCATED APARTMENT

We came to London for 3 days. I had only been in London for business and it was the first time for my husband. What a fantastic town to spend some free days!! And the apartment is so nice, warm and tastefully decorated! The location is perfect and it is well connected by bus and the tube. I look forward to coming again soon!!

Everything it was a great property, clean and spacious! Absolutely beautiful view, had all the needs for being able to cook some meals, but close enough to plenty of restaurants/bars anyway! When contacting Jose and Marta quick with responses and always willing to help if anything was required.

Couldn’t have been happier with the place!

Charming and Lovely!

The Flat was quite lovely. Small and compact but with an updated charm that welcomed you at the end of each day. Jose was friendly, informative, and quite helpful in answering questions of not only the Flat, but of our surroundings. Jose even provided us suggested transportation back to Heathrow on our last day. The amenities were stellar! From the soaps provided to the cooking range, the beautiful drapery and decor! Of course visiting your wonderful city for only three days kept us on the go....but if inclement weather had kept us indoors...we could have been quite happy viewing the River Thames! Thank you! I most certainly would recommend your accommodation to family and friends with the understanding that the Underground is a 15 minute walk.

Lovely apartment in Great Location

My husband & I spent 4 nights here on our 3rd trip to London. We love Chelsea and the Sloane Square area. Tons of shops, restaurants and easy tube access. The apartment is beautifully decorated and actually nicer than the pictures. It is small but cozy and well laid out. Really nice bathroom, for our fellow Americans who find this hard to find in Europe. The apartment is well equipped with everything you will need plus lots of extra touches that you don't find in most vacation rentals. Jose is so nice & really helpful. It is quiet and has great view of the Thames. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to London.

The location is absolutely perfect it’s on one of the strips lots around to see, so and eat! The facilities where great. It was very clean, well equipped kitchen and comfortable living area.

Great WiFi and heating. Jose give us a very good welcome. We had our baby newborn with us and we had no issues at all which was a great plus.

The property was supplied with many things needed for my stay. There was one bedroom. Kitchen space with a fridge, stove, microwave, sink, cooking equipment and utensils. The restoom was confortable and clean. Extra cleaning supplies, bedding sheets, pillows ans towels were available to use. A very clean apartmen.

The bed were comfortable and it was in a perfect location in London! few mins walk away from the tube and far enough away that it was quiet for us to sleep.

Perfect location and like a small home for us for three weeks

The property matched the description and photos. Yes the views of the Thames and Battersea park are really there from the lounge and bedroom. Location was excellent, easy walk to Sloan Square and Kings Road. Neighbourhood was delightful and safe to walk around after dark We stayed in the middle of winter so darkness arrived early. Easy walk to many of Londons attractions. When we felt like transport we used the busses. Comfortable ride and great views of London. Used the train a little but bus view was better. Great shopping and restaurants. As Melbourne residents we are fussy about our coffee. I can name at least four places within 10 minutes walk with true espresso based quality coffees. Local pubs are quiet and family friendly. From the moment we arrived early Christmas morning we felt at home in the flat and the area

The neighborhood charm

Perfect for our type of stay which was on the go. Bed was comfortable which was important to us. Great communication with Jose and very helpful. Only suggestion is to offer up more towels. Overall got the Chelsea neighborhood feel! 15 minute walk to the tube which has good access to other connecting line.
